GRCA Committee Job Responsibility
Title: Breed Education Committee Design Group

Committee of:

Chair appointed by the Board, and two to four additional members approved by the board.

With the approval of the Board of Directors, the Design Group may delegate special projects to an ad hoc task force

Board liaison

Maintains direct contact with the Breed Education Chairperson. Maintains direct contact with GRCA chairmen of the BEC subcommittees: Breeder Education, Field Education, Judges’ Education, and Member Education as required

Supplies Needed:

Computer and printer

E-mail and access to the Internet

Skills Required:

Digital photography and videography

Publishing (print, electronic and online)

Multi-media production

Graphic Design skills

Ability to take and utilize Digital Video for educational presentations.

Familiarity with the Breed Standard, judging, breeding and GRCA membership.

Familiarity with the Golden Retriever as a hunting dog either through first hand experience or through attendance at multiple field events.

Neither the chairperson nor any one individual on the committee need be an expert in all of these things. However, they should be sufficiently familiar with new technology for education presentations and teaching materials.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Breed Education Sub-Committees in developing presentation materials

Secure photographs and videos as requested by the committee

Work with the Technology group when materials need to be added to the web site

Promptly notify GRCA Board, via Club Secretary if unable to fulfill responsibilities.

Turn over complete files and records to successor.
