Characteristics/Talents Required:

Appreciation, knowledge and understanding of the history of the Golden Retriever and of the Golden Retriever Club of America.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Archivist in determining the historical value of material.

Knowledge of general material in the Archives

Assist in the development of or present occasional seminars/programs/displays relating to the Breed and/or the Club’s history

Continue efforts to locate historical records/articles/pictures pertaining to the Breed or the Club

Write occasional articles for the GRNews; however, the appointment of a person to the position of Historian shall be deemed independent of that person’s position as an author or illustrator in any other media using related topics.
