Description
2023 GRCA National Specialty Grooming & Reserved Performance Crating at the Linn County Expo Center will include nearly infinite number of stalls (each 10’x10’) located in the Cascade Livestock Pavilion arena. Stalls will all have doors and be able to lock. In addition, we will offer the same stalls located in the Cascade Livestock Pavilion for reserved crating for Obedience/Rally without electricity.
Reserved grooming and reserved performance crating areas are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Exhibitors who wish to be located in nearby stalls together must submit reservations and indicate their desire to groom near other exhibitors in the “Additional Information” field. Electricity will be available in reserved Stalls only. Reserved Stalls can be secured with your own lock.
No generators permitted in any building. No dogs in any building overnight. Grooming area opens at 6:00 am and is locked at 9:00 pm. Dogs must be out by 9:00 pm.
The deadline for grooming spot cancellations is August 1, 2023.
Grooming
Summary of pertinent specifications for grooming in Cascade Livestock Pavilion:
- Each stall is 10’ x 10’
- Each stall will have one 15-amp circuit (electricity is unavailable in performance crating stalls)
- You are responsible to bring a 50 –100 ft extension cord to access electricity
- Stalls will be inaccessible from 9 PM until 6 AM each day and dogs can not be left overnight
Please remember to bring your own 50 to 100 ft extension cord to ensure you can reach the outlets. A surge protector is also recommended. Please pay attention to your power requirements for dryers to avoid tripping breakers. There are no generators permitted in the stalls or in the parking lot. Please keep aisles clear for fire safety.
Grooming move-in is scheduled for September 11, 2023, and move-out will be by noon on September 17th.
Obedience/Rally Crating
Summary of pertinent specifications for Obedience/Rally performance crating in Cascade Livestock Pavilion:
- Each stall is 10’ x 10’
- There is no electricity available for performance crating (grooming stalls have electricity)
- You are responsible to bring a 50 –100 ft extension cord to access electricity
- Stalls will be inaccessible from 9 PM until 9 AM each day and dogs can not be left overnight

Performance stall move-in is scheduled for September 11, 2023, and move-out will be by noon on September 17th.
Other Crating
There is free crating outside the Cascade Arena with cover available daily, but you cannot leave items overnight in these stalls. Ringside crating for performance venues can be left overnight.
