Take part in the 2026 GRCA National Specialty Parade of Titleholders in the Exhibition Building at Island Grove.
These celebrations provide an opportunity to recognize and honor the dedication, hard work, and achievements of the many facets of Golden Retriever performance, not to mention the dogs and their handlers. Earning a title requires immense effort, training, and skill, both on the part of the dogs and their handlers.
By organizing a parade to celebrate these titleholders, we provide an opportunity for the Golden community to come together and acknowledge these amazing accomplishments. It serves as a platform to showcase the exceptional qualities and talents of these dogs, promoting a sense of pride and admiration for their abilities.
Date: Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026
(Following the Welcome Dinner, lineup begins at 7:30 p.m. and parade kicks off at 8 p.m.)
Include with your entry a brief (50 words or less) biography about your dog and a photo of your dog (JPEG or PDF format). Because the Parade is not an AKC event, non-AKC titles and achievements may be included in this write-up. The Committee reserves the right to edit submitted material to 50 words.
Entries are limited to a MAXIMUM OF 100 d0gs. Entries will be accepted on a first-received, first-accepted basis. A waiting list will be established in case of cancellations prior to Aug. 3, 2026. Entrants will be honored with a beautiful rosette and souvenir of the 2026 National.
The Parade of Titleholders is open to all Golden Retrievers who have earned a MINIMUM of one or more of the following AKC titles (7-point or higher titles pursuant to the GRCA VC/VCX/VCM-OS/OD Point Schedule):
- Conformation (GRCH, CH)
- Obedience (OTCH, UDX, UD)
- Field (FC, AFC, QAA***, **, MH, SH)
- Agility (MACH, PACH, MX, MXJ, MXP, MJP, AX, AXJ)
- Tracking (CT, TDX, VST)
- Scentwork (SWD, SWM)
- Rally (RACH)
- Upland Master (MHU)
Entry Deadline: Aug. 3, 2026, or when entry limit of 100 is reached. No refunds or cancellations after Aug. 3, 2026.
