GRCA is holding three (3) CCA divisions (flights) at the 2026 GRCA National Specialty – all on MONDAY, OCTOBER 5 at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley, CO.

CCA PARTICIPATION – UPDATED GUIDELINES
In keeping with the purposes of the CCA program, and to provide Golden Retrievers that have not previously earned a CCA title and are owned by a GRCA member with improved opportunities for evaluation at Regional and National Specialties, the following policies will be added to the CCA Program Guidelines and are in effect for this show:
- Priority Entry: CCA events held in conjunction with a GRCA Regional or National Specialty shall give priority entry, via random draw, to Golden Retrievers that have not previously earned a CCA title and are owned by a GRCA member.
- Mandatory Presence: The owner, co-owner and/or breeder of the dog must be present in the ring during the evaluation.
- Assistance: A runner will be provided by the host club if physical assistance is required during the evaluation.

Per CCA Program Rules, “whenever GRCA members are given priority entry into any CCA event, the method of accepting entries must be by random draw.” The draw will commence with entries from GRCA members ONLY until the event (including alternates) either fills or all GRCA member entries have been accepted, in which case a second draw will commence with non-member entries until the event fills. The random draw will take place at the home of the CCA Secretary at 7:00 pm Eastern on the closing, August 26, 2026.
