AKC Reunite is the nation’s largest non-profit pet microchip and recovery service protecting over 7 million pets across 33 different species – dogs, cats, horses, birds, turtles and more! Since 1995, more than 500,000 pets have been reunited with their owners.
As a not-for-profit program, AKC Reunite donates microchip scanners to eligible animal shelters, and offers matching grants to AKC clubs to help donate K-( officers to police departments. Other projects are the AKC Pet Disaster Relief trailer and the Canine Support and Relief Fund to aid and provide resources for not-for-profit canine search and rescue teams.
