Rally Novice RN — January 2, 2005
Rally Obedience became a titling sport in January 2005. In Rally, a dog and handler team, navigate a series of exercises according to sequentially numbered signs. The team works at it’s own pace heeling from sign to sign. Timing of the team’s performance is used to break ties in scores. Emphasis is on fun and excitement for the team, providing a more “natural” approach to the performance. Golden Retrievers across the United States competed in this new sport the very first day it was available. The following Golden Retrievers earned their Rally Novice titles on January 2, 2005. We honor them as well as the first title holders in Rally Advanced, Rally Excellent and the coveted RAE title.
